lately, i’ve been trying to incorporate a little more green in my life, especially when it comes to the kitchen. i speak both literally, and figuratively — you can either bring green in with color or with real live greenery, which is where i’m headed. i’ve planted some fresh herbs on my window sill, and outside the kitchen window, i have plenty of hanging plants to look out at. all these kitchens have some shades of green going on and i’m also fond of their very eclectic bohemian vibes. i’m of the mindset that kitchens should be functional, but also welcoming and cozy spaces where friends and family want to hang out and cook (or watch me cook) and i think the more casual, warm and a little whimsical, the better.
